Today was game day. We had shoot around this morning at 9am. At the end of shoot around, we all got 3 chances to make a half court shot for 100 yuan. Unfortunately, I didn\u2019t make any of mine, but maybe next time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After shoot around, we went back to the hotel and I made myself some brunch and then I laid down for my pregame nap. I slept until about 2:30pm and then I got up and started preparing my pregame meal. I made myself chicken and rice and it turned out pretty good for my first time cooking here. I did my recovery boots while I ate my food and then I started to get ready for the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We left for the game at 5:50pm and got to the gym around 6:20pm. We got to ride in a really fancy Mercedes van with massaging chairs and a lot of other cool features that I couldn\u2019t figure out because everything was in Chinese. We started warmups pretty quickly after getting to the gym. I would have preferred to get there earlier but Myisha didn\u2019t want to be there more than an hour before the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We won the game! I started off really well and played a solid game overall. It was good to get the first game out of the way cause it\u2019s always a little nerve-racking for me. We play the same team again on Monday so that makes scouting easier. As a team, we had a lot of people contribute and that surprised me a little bit.
